About the Project

Brockham Village Hall is a vital hub for the local community, hosting a variety of events, a café, and a bar. With rising energy costs and a commitment to sustainability, the hall sought a renewable energy solution to reduce operational expenses while supporting a greener future.

As the site is located in a conservation area, the project required careful planning to ensure it complemented the historic surroundings and met local authority requirements. Raven Renewables worked closely with the hall’s management to design and install a high-performance solar PV system with battery storage, maximising clean energy generation while preserving the character of the site. This installation now provides cost-effective, reliable, and sustainable power, enabling the hall to operate more efficiently and reduce its carbon footprint.

Client feedback

“Brockham Village Hall has always been at the heart of our community, and this project ensures we can continue serving local residents sustainably. Raven Renewables worked closely with us and the planners to find a solution that respected the village’s character while allowing us to harness the benefits of solar energy. The addition of battery storage means we can power evening events more efficiently, making a real difference to our running costs and environmental impact.”
